Yesterday was the annual Norm Reeves car show that was held at their used car location off of Artesia and Bellflower in Bellflower, CA as opposed to the Cerritos location where it had been held previous years.
All of the free goodies they were giving away made the wait for the raffle and award ceremony definitely worth it. They gave away free Monster energy drinks, cheeseburgers, hot dogs, soda, Kroq gave away goodie bags, candy AND there was a collision center there that gave away towels to wipe down your car. (The towels came in really handy because it got a bit rainy yesterday.)
My amazing boyfriend’s car was awarded “best TSX”. I am SOOO proud of him! He has worked so hard on his car and he completely deserved it. His beautiful Accord Euro R was slammed, fitted and “simply fresh” ;)
I didn’t walk away empty handed either (well technically I did because I gave all the goodies I won to my boyfriend). I brought close to 30 cans to donate to charity and each can gave me 1 raffle ticket. I won an $850 gift certificate for a body kit, a t-shirt and a 40% off coupon for some brand. (luckily my boyfriend wants a front lip from them hehehe)
If you were there yesterday, I was the annoying girl that kept obnoxiously cheering whenever I won and was ESPECIALLY obnoxious when my boyfriend won “best TSX”. I really am proud of him though. I have been waiting years (since I met him) for him to be genuinely recognized for the hard work he puts into maintaining and upgrading his car. I was just happy I was there to see it finally happen :)
